ADVANCED TOOLS / Random Notes, Specific Instructions
The following are few notes for the duration of our Advanced Tools Class.
For the initial few weeks of the class we will be working on Paper Only.
We use 11" X 17" Xerox paper.
Please come to every class with at least 10 sheets.
We will be drawing in class often, if not every class.
There will be opportunities later for you to work in Photoshop if you prefer.
All initial work will be done on paper.
Much of the work you will be producing will be layout drawings, construction drawings, plans and perspective exercises.
They must be clear and accurate.
You will need appropriate tools, straight edges, triangles, etc.
For layout purposes you should have an assortment of drawing pens, pencils and colored markers.
It would be helpful if you had a small assortment of light grey markers (fine, medium line weight).
These will be EXTREMELY helpful in doing quick layouts and construction blocking.
Bring them every week.
Some of you have specific questions and issues.
Ask and we will discuss.
Please complete your four drawings hydrant / burger / figure / house.
Finish them in clean INKED line.
Immaculate craftsmanship!
Your name and Week 1 in the lower right corner.
See you Wednesday.

Welcome Advanced Tools Class of Spring 2019!
Hey Class!
First I'd like to start off by saying welcome to the class and here's to an exciting and fruitful semester. This blog was made to help share progress in your work and to get feedback from both the students and staff as well as put up notes on what was discussed during class.
We're hoping that, in time, this will help streamline the homework submission process and help you see the progress in everyone's work and maybe give some feedback if you're up for it!
While this might take a bit of time to get used to, feel free to contact Dan, Poe or myself if you have any questions or concerns about the site, the class, or anything else on your mind. Happy designing! :D
